Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actor who is most well famous for her performances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has shown her ability to act in a variety of roles by performing outstandingly in TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. In 2005, she was noticed first for her performance as Anna In Assault on Precinct 13 The film was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) for the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also acknowledged by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson.
